English Fable of the Day Widget: 400 pixels

For each day, there is the complete text of the fable in Latin, along with an illustration, 400 pixels in width. There is a link for the online text and image source. As with all the date-based widgets, you can also get a randomized version if you prefer! There is also a version just 200 pixels wide which is better suited to most blog sidebars.

Aesop's Fables by Barlow

This is a collection of 50 Aesop's Fables from the Latin fables published by Francis Barlow in 1687. For each fable displayed at random, there is a link to a scan of the original book, plus a link to a wiki page where you can find the Latin text, English translation and additional information.

Hindu Divinities

This is a collection of 53 Hindu Gods and Goddesses with very brief descriptions of each, a link to a Wikipedia article, along with an image and a link to the source of the image. The images are 200 pixels wide and a maximum of 300 pixels high. You can choose to view a Hindu Divinity of the Week, or you can choose to view a Random Hindu Divinity (random display every time the page refreshes).
